You do not need to be a part of our Service Dog Program to have us train service dog tasks.

Paws Of Service Dog Training - Service Dog Program
We have three main options through which someone can obtain or train a service dog though us.
Option 1 - Purchase a trained service dog. We occasionally have trained dogs ready to find a partner. Dogs are typically between 16 months and 3 years old. We do not sell dogs younger than 16 months of age as fully trained service dogs. We may have an up and coming dog already started that can be "customized" early on to fit your needs so call us to inquire. Once we decide a dog is a match we may add additional tasks for the new partner. The team completes team training together where they learn about each other and how to work as a team (3-10 days) before going home.
Estimated Cost: $10,000-$25,000
Option 2 - You have a dog or plan to purchase a dog who is suitable as a service dog and need to send it to a service dog trainer for training. This is essentially an extended board and train program where your dog will come and live in our home to learn service dog tasks. This may be from a puppy all the way through training or it may just be for task training or somewhere in between.
Estimated Cost: $5,000-$20,000
Option 3 - You have a dog or plan to purchase a dog who is suitable as a service dog and want to do the training yourself with the help and backing of a professional service dog trainer. This is a series of private lessons where the owner works with our trainers to teach their dog obedience, tasks, and public access manners. The team is required to complete a set number of hours of training before being backed by Paws Of Service Dog Training as a full service dog.

More about our program - In 2011 we trained our first service dog and in the years that followed we trained additional dogs from puppyhood through graduation and helped others train their dogs. In 2015, we became an LLC and we opened up our service dog program to anyone who wanted to owner train their dogs with the backing and help of a professional. Since then we have expanded our program to include the option to purchase a fully trained service dog.
