Dog Training Group Obedience Class Descriptions
Adventure Pups
This class meets at various public locations in and around the city in which we are running the class. Work on obedience in real world settings such as parks and downtown areas! We mix in a little dog parkour (also known as barkour) into the mix for fun confidence building exercises. Previous training is recommended. This class focuses on using skills the dog already knows and applying them to real life - this class does not focus on teaching new behaviors.
Take this course alone or in conjunction with an obedience class.
6 Weeks

Beginner Obedience Level One
Build a bond and a positive working relationship with your dog in a way that is fun for both of you! Our goal is a happy obedient dog, not a robot!
No previous training required. Puppies under 1 year of age are eligible to take the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test at the end of this course.
Commands Covered:
Receive a certificate and yellow award ribbon upon completion of this class.

Intermediate Obedience Level Two
Continue building a bond and a positive working relationship with your dog in a way that is fun for both of you! Our goal is a happy obedient dog, not a robot!
This course builds upon our Beginner Obedience Level One class adding distance, duration, and distractions.
Commands Covered:
Receive a certificate and red award ribbon upon completion of this class.
6 Weeks

Advanced Obedience Level Three
Continue building a bond and a positive working relationship with your dog in a way that is fun for both of you! Our goal is a happy obedient dog, not a robot!
This course builds upon our Intermediate Obedience Level Two class and adds new commands. The focus of this class is to prepare to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test, the AKC Community Canine Test, and the UKC SPOT Test. Loose leash walking is taken up a notch through Rally Obedience training by adding more attention and maneuvers.
Commands Covered:
Receive a certificate and blue award ribbon upon completion of this class.

This course builds upon our Intermediate Obedience Level Two class and adds new commands.
